A study conducted by Swedish researchers had 112 teenage girls who had severe problems which include back and neck pain, anxiety, stress and depression. Half of the girls went to dance classes while the other half did not. The result showed that the girls who attended dance classes experienced improvement in their mental health and reported positive effects like improvement in their moods. These effects lasted up to eight months after the dance classes ended.
